At this year’s EphMRA conference, we brought brand new insights for the healthcare industry with our two presentations on June 25th. SKIM’s Chairman, Dirk Huisman, shared our vision of 5 years into the future for insights generation and how insights specialists will adapt to converging trends. Ana Edelenbosch, Senior Research Executive at SKIM, presented on how ‘profile recruitment’ can bring the right respondent within ever-decreasing timelines.

Dirk took delegates on a journey into the future, where even 5 years from now, many of today’s challenges of insights specialists will no longer be challenges. But how do we evolve? Dirk presented 4 converging trends in insights generation that will define the 2020 reality in healthcare and how insights specialists can and will implement these changes to make it happen. He concluded that in 2020 the converging trends will result in a significant change in the way insight specialists will operate and function and that the insights’ services and the way services are provided will change drastically.

We are facing an ever changing market driven by enormous technological advancements and, as an inevitable response to these developments, the need of quicker decision making to anticipate rapid changes in the market is steadily growing.
