SKIM has strengthened its global Methods and Analytics leadership with the appointment of three experienced data and analytics experts in Europe and the United States. These new SKIMmers will deepen and expand the company’s advanced analytics know-how and further accelerate SKIM’s strategic innovation initiatives in 2022 and beyond.

The new Methodologies and Analytics leaders bring decades of technical, industry and academic backgrounds in data, analytics, and market research.  Their experience allows SKIM to deliver even more reliable, predictive insights to companies navigating an increasingly complex, connected-data environment. These leaders also play an important role in helping to guide and inspire the growing number of talented data analytics professionals at SKIM.

Jerome Hancock, Senior Director Methodology & Analytics, EU, has nearly 20 years of marketing analytics experience, leading research teams at agencies including Hall & Partners and Kantar Millward Brown. Throughout his career, he has utilized a wide range of smart, predictive analytics to help clients improve marketing ROI, identify and target key audiences, improve brand positioning and communications, optimize new product development and pricing strategies. Based in the United Kingdom, Jerome serves as a leader in SKIM’s European Methodology and Analytics team. He is responsible for driving the continued success, growth and learning of SKIM’s methodologists. Jerome holds an MBA from the Henley Business School.

Nino Hardt, Senior Director Methodology & Analytics, EU, has a decade of market research and choice modeling expertise in academia. As professor of marketing at Ohio State University he was responsible for teaching the next generation of research professionals in, and conducting research on, the latest quantitative models and solutions. Based in Germany, Nino also joins SKIM’s European Methodology and Analytics leadership team. He is responsible for developing new research solutions and expanding SKIMmer’s technical knowledge and research skills to better answer clients’ toughest problems. Nino holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Marketing and a Diploma in business administration from the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

Michael Smith, VP Methodology & Analytics, US, is a discrete choice and advanced analytics expert with 20+ years of marketing science experience at research agencies, including Hall & Partners. He has led hundreds of discrete choice and segmentations for companies in the CPG, technology, retail, finance, and healthcare industries. Based in Atlanta, Michael leads SKIM’s US Methodology and Analytics Team. He is responsible for innovating new analytic approaches to better answer client questions and continuing to grow SKIM’s methodological expertise in the US. Michael holds a Masters of Science in statistics from Brigham Young University.
