What Speak Up is
Speak Up is SKIM’s program for raising concerns about behavior that doesn’t align with our values such as misconduct, unethical conduct, or a potential breach of our standards.
It’s available to everyone connected to SKIM, including our colleagues, clients, freelancers, suppliers, and other partners.
Our principles
- A culture of openness: We believe issues should be addressed early and fairly. Everyone deserves to be heard, without fear.
- Protection from retaliation: When a concern is raised in good faith, the person raising it is fully protected. Any form of retaliation is strictly prohibited.
- Confidentiality and care: Every concern is treated with the utmost care, confidentiality, and respect by our independent Speak Up Team.
- A shared responsibility: Speaking up is how we keep SKIM a place where everyone feels safe, valued, and listened to.
The Speak Up Team
The Speak Up Team is an independent group of trained SKIM colleagues. They operate independently from other teams, so every concern is received, reviewed, and followed up on fairly and confidentially.
