On March 7, 2017, we moderated the client panel discussion of PMRG/PMSA Symposium. Bill Salokar – our VP Client Solutions – together with other top notch speakers from the healthcare industries were there to discuss topics in and around intersection of healthcare strategy, insights, and advanced data analytics.

Insights during the client panel discussion

The panel discussed the current state of integration of strategy, insights, and analytics in their organizations and what is working well. The panelists agreed that to be successful in integration, one must hire the right people and then train and enable them. Storytelling and presentation skills were highlighted as key success factors.

The panelists also talked about where the industry stands relative to others like FMCG and Financial Services, with some differing views of which sector is ahead in integrating the three components. The lively discussion set an enthusiastic and challenging tone for a set of round table discussions that followed and a day of insightful presentations.
