As we continue to evolve, we are looking for a Team Lead for our Tech team who will focus on team development and coaching, oversee daily operational needs, and support organizational improvement and effectiveness in close collaboration with the Cluster Lead.

Job description  
What do you think of this: This is a unique opportunity for a senior, people-driven leader to support how our Tech team operates, develops, and performs as SKIM evolves. The team works closely with leading companies in tech industries, including telecom providers, financial services organizations, and other businesses offering technology-driven products, delivering impact in complex, fast-moving environments. Our entrepreneurial environment calls for someone proactive, confident, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day people leadership and operational excellence, while working closely with the Cluster Lead, who holds overall strategic responsibility for the Tech cluster. 

In this role, you will act as a Team Lead focused on execution and enablement: developing our people, keeping the team running effectively, and translating strategic direction into clear priorities and healthy day-to-day operations. You are not responsible for setting the long-term strategy of the cluster, but you play a key role in bringing that strategy to life through your team. 

Our Tech team consists of over 20 colleagues across Rotterdam, London, and Berlin. We welcome candidates based in any of these locations, with the expectation of regular travel to maintain regular face-to-face connection and engagement with the full team. 

Specifically, you will be expected to: 

  • Oversee day-to-day team performance, wellbeing, workload, and overall people management.  
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal operational support and escalations.  
  • Provide ongoing coaching and meaningful feedback, supporting individual growth, development plans, and performance improvement.  
  • Identify strengths, create personalized development opportunities, and foster connections across teams and roles.
  • Play a central role in strengthening team operations and supporting organizational improvement and change. 
  • Maintaining visibility on team KPIs. 

  
Qualifications 
The ideal candidate brings solid end-to-end market research experience and is now motivated to focus more on leading people through supporting, developing, and coaching individuals within the organization. They are energized by helping teams grow, navigating operational challenges, and have a strong interest in contributing to organizational change and improvement. Typically, we are looking for someone with the following profile: 

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience within market research and/or a people lead position.  
  • Experience leading small project teams. 
  • Experience within the Tech industry and conjoint methodology is a plus. 
  • Experience with coaching and change management and/or interest in developing these further 
  • Ability to have conversations with empathy and cultural sensitivity, and build trust through honesty and care.  
  • Ability to make confident decisions, challenge others when needed, and remain steady and patient during escalations 
  • A team player with a positive and pro-active attitude, the enthusiasm to roll up your sleeves and advocate for the team 
  • Fluent in English 
  • You are authorized to work in The Netherlands, the UK or Germany
