Propelling SKIM’s growth and success in North America

Jeni Chapman –  Managing Director, North America

Jeni Chapman was named Managing Director, North America, and is based in the New York area. In this role, Jeni will oversee the U.S. account management, insights and analytics teams in New York, Atlanta and San Francisco. She is responsible for accelerating the U.S. team’s growth and deepening the successful client partnerships built to date with Fortune 500 (100) companies across the CPG, technology and healthcare industries.

Jeni joins SKIM with more than two decades of marketing, insights and analytics management experience within large agencies, boutique firms and her own consulting practice. Over the course of her career, she has held various senior insights, operations and account management roles,  managing brand and communications research for Tech, Financial and CPG clients (TNS North America / Kantar), media intelligence SaaS services (Cision) and business development strategies (PRS IN VIVO). Most recently, she served as Chief Growth Officer for in4mation insights, a marketing analytics firm focused on predictive modeling, social data and market mix modeling.

With her combination of proven management, marketing science, insights, and data analytics expertise, Jeni is perfectly suited to lead one of SKIM’s largest markets.

“We are pleased to have Jeni join SKIM to lead the North America team’s next phase of growth. Her curiosity, collaborative approach and data analytics background are what SKIMmers are all about!” commented Karin Lieshout, Managing Director, SKIM. Karin oversees the commercial teams at SKIM.

“SKIM is in the unique position to answer many of the critical questions brands now face: how can I understand the disruptions affecting consumer decision and purchase behavior, and what strategies should I employ to ensure people choose my brand over the competition – particularly online,” said Jeni Chapman. “Not only does SKIM have the implicit, mobile and eCommerce insights solutions to answer these questions, but I’m equally impressed with its DNA rooted in analytical rigor and innovation.”

Ushering in the next generation of innovation solutions

Pascalle Govers – Consultant, New Product Development Services

Pascalle Govers joins SKIM as Consultant, New Product Development services, based in Rotterdam. She is charged with growing the company’s NPD (new product development) portfolio of solutions and expertise.

Pascalle brings 20+ years of consumer insights experience and has been involved in many innovation projects ranging from disruptive innovations to product line extensions. She has worked with some of the world’s leading CPG companies, including Unilever, Heineken, Reckitt Benckiser, Danone, and Philips.

Pascalle’s strong methodological background and deep marketing know-how is particularly relevant in today’s complex environment where consumer and clients’ needs are changing.

“I’m excited to welcome Pascalle to our team of marketing science experts! She brings a wealth of NPD experience and enthusiasm to help companies reexamine their innovation strategies for today’s marketplace,” commented Joris Huisman, Managing Director, SKIM. Joris leads SKIM’s overall product portfolio.

When asked why she joined SKIM, Pascalle explained: “Throughout my career I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it is for companies to be successful when it comes to innovations. Considering the hit rate of new product launches and an ever-crowded market, the new product development process is harder than ever. And NPD research can be tackled in many different ways. I joined SKIM because their approach is rigorous and actionable, so clients can trust their insights to make important decisions.”

Pascalle holds a Ph.D. in Design Engineering and Consumer Behavior from Delft University of Technology and a Master’s degree in Economic Psychology from Tilburg University. Passionate about sharing her expertise and continued learning, she is also a guest lecturer at the Strategic Product Design institute at Delft University.
