Uncovering the Unspoken™ word to minimize response bias in Asia
If you conduct research in Asia, you have probably run into response biases like acquiescent response style (ARS) and socially desirable responses (SDR). We addressed how new implicit research techniques enabled by mobile technology can minimize ARS and SDR and bring us closer to uncovering true consumer behavior in the Asian market.
In many ways, Asia has surpassed Silicon Valley in developing cutting edge mobile tech. The goal of bringing this topic to ESOMAR APAC was to inspire the marketing research industry to also take a leading role in developing mobile research methods that help overcome response biases.
