In 2010 we presented our pricing insights at the annual ESOMAR event in Athens (Greece). This presentation, nominated for best methodological paper, was well-received. Our pricing presentation was an interactive session where we shared the findings from our pricing database as well as assessing the wisdom of the crowd by surveying the audience’s beliefs real-time about pricing myths.

During this session we shared learnings from our extensive database (more than 100 tests in 17 countries and 40 categories) on price sensitivity. We showed how we “connected the dots” across many different pricing studies, to create a knowledge base on consumer behavior towards pricing. The presentation showcased commonly made assumptions in pricing, and dispelled them as myths, or confirmed them as truths!
