Senior Analyst wanted in Hoboken, NJ to consult with clients to determine best methodology to answer clients’ marketing and business objectives ranging from portfolio and pricing optimization, marketing communications optimization, consumer segmentation. Design market research studies that address business questions and within time frame and budget. Determine sample size for market research study, how experiments will be set up, writing and consulting on questionnaire to collect quantitative and qualitative data, recruiting agencies for fieldwork and translation. Set up statistical experimental designs. Determine best model/algorithm for running analyses that meet objectives, timeline, and budget. Run and deliver quantitative and qualitative analyses that address clients’ business questions including Optimizations to determine combinations of products that deliver the highest reach or revenue; Cross-tabulations; Source of Volume / Fair Share Index analyses; Correspondence analyses, multi-dimensional scaling (MDS) map visualizations, product dendrograms; Programming and running market scenarios to determine share and revenue impact under various scenarios; Testing for statistically significant differences between different groups; Synthesize qualitative responses about consumer perceptions, attitude, or behavior; Use tools such as R, Excel, SPSS, Tableau and other statistical or data analysis programs for analyses. Communicate research findings and quantitative analyses into recommendations that address clients’ business objectives. Manage project timelines and project budget. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Market Research plus 6 months of experience required in job offered or as Analytics Intern.
