Could you be our Finance Manager?
Since expanding into the US 20 years ago, SKIM has continued to grow and now has 6 offices within the US and LATAM.
We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager, to ensure we have the financial processes and controls in place to support our fast paced growth. As we expand into multiple states, our business model has become more complex and we are looking for a Finance Manager with a solid understanding of multi state tax requirements, who can analyze tax implications, assess risk and make recommendations to ensure compliance.
You will be a trusted advisor, partnering with regional managing directors and leadership teams to support the business strategy and growth.
As part of the Global Finance team you will be working within company policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements reporting to the Global Head of Finance in Rotterdam. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the region. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for the daily operational finance, and for providing leadership and supporting employee development. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to provide strategic direction and be hands on when needed.
Now, who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a growing SMB or start up, within a global organization, along with….
- 8 + years of experience in general accounting, ideally within professional services or consultancy
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- CPA certificate
- Experience in being part of a global team
- A proactive, flexible and creative team player with a “have you considered’ this?” mindset.
- A clear, effective and persuasive communicator
- Comfortable in a matrixed organization
- Good knowledge of ERP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook). Knowledge of SAP Business by Design would be preferred.
- A passion for learning and personal growth
