Your role

Within the Singapore team, your focus will be on quantitative research methods and techniques in relation to business questions and marketing problems in all our industry areas. This position is a blend of working on client projects and ongoing technical developments of our portfolio. Your responsibilities include:

  • Execution of all phases of a market research study: questionnaire design (and programming), analysis of the data and preparation of client presentation in line with strategic business issues
  • Ensuring that the assigned projects are optimally carried out and deadlines are met
  • Independent management of client contact during day-to-day project management
  • Contributing to the improvement of our services and products by automating processes and development of new tools
  • Learning and utilizing advanced quantitative methods to help answer business questions. This includes creating research designs and doing the modeling of complex research studies
  • Influencing the future of the SKIM Singapore office

Your profile

We are looking for a dedicated, smart and enthusiastic team player with:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) in econometrics, statistics, economics or similar technical degree, obtained with above-average grades
  • We seek someone with 0-2 years of professional experience ranging from relevant internships (which utilize analytical/logic skills) to work experience (preferably in market research, marketing or management consulting firms). Note: having no professional experience is not a disadvantage
  • Keen interest in quantitative market research methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong excel skills, including writing macros (VBA) is a plus. Strong knowledge in R is also a plus
  • Internationally-minded
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Additional native languages are a plus
  • Entrepreneurial and proactive attitude
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a complex, dynamic environment
  • Authorization to work in Singapore
