Your role and team

As Finance Assistant, you will carry out daily financial transactions. Your careful work makes sure every transaction gets logged accurately and quickly in our system. Together with the finance team consisting of 8 people globally, you will keep our financial game on point! On a day-to-day basis you will be working closely with our Finance Administrator located at our Hoboken office.

Imagine yourself being involved in the following activities:

  • Monitoring incoming inquires and requests
  • Assisting in managing accounts payable
  • Reviewing and recording vendor invoices and T&E expenses for accuracy, and completeness
  • 3rd party vendor management and verification requests
  • Reconciling receivables/bank accounts
  • Creating, and tracking payment of client invoices
  • Identify/troubleshoot/resolve financial and operational issues
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial-related information
  • Assist with administrative duties as necessary


We are looking for someone who can join the team approximately 20 hours per week. Our Finance Administrator and other SKIMmers in the Hoboken office would be excited to work with you at the office one day per week – we have a hybrid working structure.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with the following profile:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related subject and/or 0-3 years’ work experience in an administrative position
  • Familiarity with Office 365
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • The ability to interact with all departments and levels throughout our organization
  • You are well organised and have an eye for detail
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
