The role
As a Lead Analyst with Revenue Management (RM) expertise, you will lead and execute projects focused on pricing, portfolio optimization, and other RM related challenges. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality insights that drive strategic decisions for our clients, acting as both an analytical lead and a trusted advisor.
In this role, you will work closely with clients, internal experts, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver projects that uncover opportunities for revenue growth. You will also support and mentor Analysts, ensuring that best practices and methodological rigor are consistently applied.
What you will do
- Lead the design, execution, and delivery of RM-related market research projects (e.g., pricing, assortment optimization, promotion strategies)
- Apply advanced quantitative techniques, such as Conjoint/Discrete Choice Modelling, to answer business questions
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives with actionable recommendations
- Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day client interactions, building trust and ensuring client satisfaction
- Drive commercial initiatives by helping shape proposals and guiding the alignment of client business questions with appropriate research methods and solutions
- Present findings confidently to client stakeholders, connecting research outcomes to strategic business implications
- Collaborate with Methodology & Analytics teams to ensure accuracy and robustness in project execution
- Identify and propose opportunities for expanding client engagements within RM-related areas
- Mentor analysts, providing guidance on project execution, analysis, storytelling, and client engagement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SKIM’s RM expertise, tools, and approaches
What you bring
We know every individual’s strengths look different. These are the essentials for success in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, Behavioral Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 3 to 4 years of experience in Market Research, insights, pricing, revenue management, or consulting, with a strong quantitative orientation
- Knowledge of RM concepts: pricing strategy, pack/portfolio optimization, and promotional effectiveness
- Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations
- Communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with client stakeholders
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, comfortable managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English
- You are authorized to work in Costa Rica (resident, citizen, valid visa or other)
Other than that, experience in applying advanced research techniques are a plus (e.g., choice-based solutions)!
