Job description
As Senior Analyst, you will execute projects focused on pricing, portfolio optimization and other RM related challenges. You will work on the most complex projects in the LatAm region, whether that is directly with the client, or as a consultant with other SKIM project teams.
More specifically, you will be responsible for the following:
- Working as Analyst on the most complex projects in the region, from beginning to end (think about applying quantitative techniques like Conjoint/Discrete Choice Modeling)
- Consulting other SKIM project teams on more technically challenging/methodological questions e.g., help figure out how to set up a study
- Supporting client-facing discussions from a methodology perspective – you link what clients want to get done with what is possible from a technical perspective
- Contributing to the evaluation of model outputs and assumptions with exposure to assessing stability, sensitivity, and limitations, and clearly articulating key trade-offs and implications to stakeholders
- Building automated analytical pipelines by converting one-off project tasks into reusable R/Python scripts, helping teams work faster and produce more consistent results
Essentially, you are a more technical Analyst who likes to use this knowledge to make impact in client-facing situations. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in Revenue Management methodologies, while working with a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Who you are
SKIMmers are analytical, curious, and eager to learn – including from making mistakes. You enjoy working with data, collaborating, and seeing how your insights impact real-world business decisions. You have made your first steps into the working world in a project management related role and want to further expand your research and insights related skills.
Typically, we are looking for someone with the following profile:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Marketing Sciences, Engineering or similar.
- 1-2 years of working experience in a project management related role
- Hands-on analytical skills: advanced Excel, practical experience using Python or R in data analysis contexts, and VBA experience are considered a strong plus
- Communication skills: apart from the technical side of the role, the ability (and potential) to communicate clearly and effectively with clients is important!
- You are authorized to work in Costa Rica (resident, citizen, valid visa or other)
Our offer
A salary and benefits package designed to support you in your role and reward your contributions, including:
- A fixed annual salary
- Performance based bonus
- Health insurance
- A hybrid working environment – we like to meet up at the office in Avenida Escazú at least two times per week
- A place where taking initiative isn’t just encouraged. It’s valued!
- Passionate, intelligent, and supporting colleagues
- Open, communicative, and international work environment
- A flat organizational structure where everyone is treated as equal regardless of any differences
- Harmony between work and personal life
- A combination of learning through onboarding, active training programs, on-the-job and guidance from experienced SKIMmers
